EssayKraft requires macOS 26 or later, or iPadOS 26 or later.
Where are my documents stored?
Everything is stored locally on your Mac or iPad. EssayKraft has no account and no cloud requirement.
How do I export my work?
You can export as PDF, RTF, or Word (.docx). On Mac, choose File ▸ Export. On iPad, tap the Export button in the toolbar.
Which citation styles are supported?
Sixteen. Inline citations and the bibliography update automatically when you switch styles.

Can I import my references?
Yes. Import BibTeX or RIS from Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote or journal sites, straight from the references panel, and export them back out.
Where is my writing record kept?
On your device. It’s only shared if you choose to export it. You can turn authorship tracking off any time in Settings.
Does EssayKraft need an internet connection?
Only for Find Online, which looks up a reference by DOI, ISBN, title, or author. Everything else works fully offline.
